REVIEW: The danish quintet have proven time and time again that they are worthy of all the respect they receive. With their fourth studio album "Sons Of The System" they show that the pace they charge at is not about to slow down any time soon. The 11 track cd is probably their best work to date and shows how they continue to climb the everglades of Metal.
I have had the chance to interview the band a couple years ago and they are as equally as refreshing to talk to as they are to listen to. This album had me singing along right from the beginning. Guillaume Bideau's has grown more and more into the band with his vocals. He is able to successfully make the transition from his clean melodic vocals to harsh screaming flawlessly. The riffage here is nothing short of technical excellence. There is progressive, melodic, pummeling and excited moments throughout. They are definitely leaders amongst a lot of the "modern" metal bands that have come out the past decade. It's no wonder the band has been declared as "one of Metallica's favorite bands" and that they have played support for them on countless of European shows. Not only does this release show their continuous improving skills but it was also produced with Tue Masden (The Haunted, Aborted). With that being said you know right away that the production of the album is killer!
Should you really go out and get this release? I say go for it because it will be worth every penny that you spend.  |    TRACKLISTING:  01. Sons Of The System 02. Diesel Uterus 03. Mnightmare 04.
